Laptop DC Plug/Jack Replacement
The most common problem we see in laptop computers is a broken or loose DC power jack, however most repair shops do not perform this repair. They will suggest replacing the motherboard which could cost upwards of $300+ or send your notebook to the manufacturer, which can cost up to $800 and take weeks. Austin Area Computers has a team of laptop repair technicians who specialize in all areas of laptop repair, and we can replace that broken DC power jack in your laptop with a new high quality jack for only $99 + the cost of the DC Jack. The DC Jacks usually run about $19. If your laptop will not charge or if you have to wiggle the plug to get it to charge come by and let one of your technicians take care of this for you.
